Defying severe financial hardship and overcoming numerous challenges through determination and hard work, Rahul Rudrapal, a talented student from Kanchanmala Pal Colony, has secured the 8th position in the state merit list in this year's Higher Secondary Examination.
Rahul’s remarkable achievement has brought immense pride and joy to his family, neighbors, and the entire locality. His father, Dilip Rudrapal, works as an auto-rickshaw driver, while his mother, Anita Rudrapal, is a homemaker. As the sole breadwinner of the family, Dilip has tirelessly supported the household and funded his son's education despite facing constant financial struggles.
Teachers and residents had recognized Rahul’s academic potential from an early age. His dedication and perseverance have now been rewarded with an outstanding score of 477 out of 500 marks, earning him the eighth rank in the state.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday, Rahul said that his family's poor financial condition has made his educational journey difficult, with his father having to struggle continuously to meet expenses. Despite these challenges, he remains committed to fulfilling his parents' dreams through education.
Rahul aspires to become a teacher and serve society through the profession. He appealed to the state government, particularly the Chief Minister, for financial assistance to help him pursue higher education and achieve his goal.
As part of his future academic plans, Rahul intends to enroll in a D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) college in Agartala. Several political leaders and social figures from the area have already congratulated him on his success and assured him of their support in the future.
